  • connects with audeance
  • has on-air exp
  • good solid resume and reel
  • up to date on current events
I also found that is MUCH easer for me to get a job out west then it is here in the tri state area. how ever that dose make since beign that all of the famouse readiostations are in new york and philly.

i think the most valuable thing that EVERY job that i have seen today is looking for is someone whois out going and able to Connect with there audeance.

HOME WORK for class

In my field a microphone, and a recording program are are you really need however, head phones, are also a must!!! Computer to put all of your audio files on would be good as well. If you have access to it a sound proof room would also be good !

voices123.com is an awesome sight to get your name out in the voice over community. you can uplad your demo reel and hear other who have uploaded theirs!
showbizltd.com great sight that opens many doors for you and the starting of a carrier in voice over work. however this sight pits a middle man into the mix, which can be annoying
voiceover-training.com great sight to teach your self how to get started in a carrier in VO. its a very easy site to navigate and is very help full in very many ways

these sight each have something unique about what they have to offer, but each does it in a slighty diffrent manner

Jobs I Found

The first site I visited was Voices.com here you can set up a profile and find jobs that people have posted. It is very easy to navigate and helpful because you can here other peoples demo reels, to get an idea of what your personal reel should sound like.
The second site bestradiojobs.com gives you insight to radio jobs as well as voice over work, it also is a great place to find who out there is hireing!
The Third is more of a training site more then a job sites, how ever every one needs tips and tricks to make it in the world i found this site to do just that greatvoice.com
fourth site starsnsights.com is much like first two sites but alittle harder to follow. I thought I should mention this one becasue all thogh it is harder to follow it still is very well put togeather.
and finally my site voiceoversunlimited.com is probly my farvoret site. I used it back when I went to mercer full time. If you are planing to become a voice over artest this is the site that you should be on all the time it has every thing you would need to learn, earn and get a job in VO i strongly recommend this sit
